Join the Digital Humanities Initiative for a workshop Tom Williams!
Sifting through large volumes of textual data can be tricky and time consuming. This intermediate class will show participants how an LLM might be used to speed up the process. Using local LLMs, this class demonstrates how to sort text into different categories for further analysis. Participants are expected to have some comfort with python to make the most of this class, but all the code will be provided. The class's analysis will be ran on google colab in order to access their GPU services and participants will download models from hugging face.
PRIOR TO THE WORKSHOP create a google colab account and an account on hugging face.
