Digital Humanities Workshop: Introduction to Digital Returns: DH Practices for Archival Repatriation
Join the Digital Humanities Initiative for a workshop with Robert Sanchis-Álvarez!
This workshop offers an introduction to digital returns, the use of digital tools to reconnect archives and communities -or memories- across distance. Drawing on examples from international projects and recent work with Filipino and Spanish collections, we’ll discuss practical and ethical questions around digitization and co-curation. The goal is to think together about how DH methods can support cultural memory work and make archival research more broadly accesible. No prior technical knowledge required.
Lunch provided to registrants.
