"Capital" Reading Group
Critics have hailed the new English translation of Marx’s Capital as “an astounding achievement” and “an irreplaceable book for both interpreting and changing the world.” Whether you are reading Marx’s work for the first or the millionth time, graduate students, postdocs, faculty are warmly invited to join the Capital reading group.
No registration required. Students and faculty are invited to participate in as many sessions as their schedule allows! The group will meet in Wilson 117 from 12:00-1:30 on the following dates:
10/9 Front matter and ch.1-12 (this is an opportunity for new participants to read the first ½ of the book and for people who participated in the spring to refresh their memories)
10/23 Ch. 13 (120pp.)
11/13 Ch. 14-22 (96pp.)
12/4 Ch.23 (87pp.)
12/11 Ch. 24-Afterword (60pp.)
